Backpackers is a large group of recreational walkers who enjoy weekly walks arranged on different days each week to enable maximum participation. To view the diary of walks arranged for the quarter click here.

Thursday Fellowship encourages people from within and outside the church to meet together to broaden their minds spiritually and intellectually and to share ideas and fellowship. Click here to access the programme of events for 2009/2010.

Clubs: Bethesda hosts a number of clubs each week including the Luncheon Club, Welcome Club and Saturday Coffee Shop

Drama: The Tailor's Apprentice Feb 4-6th Bethesda Hall
In February the Bethesda drama group "The Bethespians" put on a brand new production of The Tailor's Apprentice especially written for the Group. Profits from the event were donated to the Haiti disaster appeal

Social Events: a belated New Year Party was held on March on the theme of a cruise with Captain, crew, deck games, entertainment, and nautical music. A great time was had by all!

Uniformed organisations: Bethesda is home to the 45th Cheltenham Scout group with beaver, cub and scout sessions as well as a thriving Guide group.

Other groups: a number of external societies meet at Bethesda on a regular basis including the Gotherington Singers and the VIPs (Visually Impaired Group).
