Bethesda Methodist Church website
A very warm welcome to our website.
Bethesda Methodist Church is a friendly all-age church with a variety of worship styles. We aim to be focussed on God, rooted in Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit, in all that we do.
There are usually two services on Sundays, at 10.30am and 6pm and on the first Sunday in the month, there is an additional service at 8.00am. During the week, we organise or host a wide variety of meetings and activities, including Bible studies and house-groups, toddler groups, a twins’ club, welcome and luncheon clubs for senior citizens, a Backpackers’ walking group, choirs, a country dance group, and a group for the visually impaired.
In addition, Bethesda is home to the following uniformed organisations:
Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
We are a registered Fairtrade church running a weekly 'Traidgreen Stall' alongside coffee after the morning service and our commitment to the environment has led to three national eco-awards. We hope to be able to welcome you to our church in the future.
