Church Life

Bethesda Methodist Church is an all-age worshipping community of ordinary people who strive to be open to God, open to life, open to the world and open to others.

Two services (10.30 am & 6.00 pm) are held each Sunday and except for All-Age Services the youngsters leave for Junior Church after the second hymn; there is also a creche for the youngest. Singing is led by a strong choir and/or music group. There is also an 8.00 am communion service - usually on the first Sunday in the month and a mid-week communion service (twice monthly) at 10.00 am on Thursdays. Several house groups meet during the week and the choir meets for practice on Friday evenings.
