Worship @ Bethesda
[ Worship | Survival Guide | Music Group | Choir ]

Worship at Bethesda is lively and varied and is continually evolving to meet the needs of both members and visitors. You can find out what is going on This Sunday by clicking the link. If you are new to Bethesda or new to Church completely then read the Survival Guide to prepare for the experience.

Sunday Worship

10.30 am - Morning Services

6.00 pm - Evening Services

7.30 pm - Bethesda Youth Group

In addition to the two services each Sunday there is a range of other meetings including house groups, bible study & prayer groups and youth groups. We enjoy a close friendship with our Anglican neighbors - St. Philip and St. James. Every other month we hold a joint evening service, alternating venues; this includes presiding at each others Eucharist.

Every year we hold an open air morning service in the garden of the Exmouth Arms, a local pub in Cheltenham, where we worship as a joint congregation of some 200. We also meet on Crickley Hill at 6.30am on Easter Day to celebrate Christs' resurrection in fellowship together.

Bethesda & St Philip and St James aim is to work together in mutual support to offer God's love to those around us. What we can do together we do, and in what we do as individual churches we pray for, encourage and provide support for one another. We are constantly looking to see how we can more closely mission together in, and to, the community around us. Visit their web site at www.saintspjleckhampton.org.uk.

For more details including times and places of meetings during the current week check the Sunday notices.

We are a church of all ages with many young people (and some very tiny ones - congratulations to Shirley and Michael!) so every Sunday there is a Young Peoples Fellowship group which meets during the main service in the church hall - visit their page for more information.
